NICOLA & PAUL’S WEDDING 16 APRIL 2011 @ BROOKSBY HALL (nr Melton Mowbray) LEICESTERSHIRE

Nicola and Paul chose the delightful and beautiful Brooksby Hall, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire for their Wedding Ceremony and Wedding reception. They first approached me last summer about their wedding.

Brooksby Hall is a beautiful 16th century manor house set on a large country estate. The hall is surrounded by mature, well-maintained gardens and lake -a superb backdrop for a wedding. Throughout their day the sun shone and despite it being mid April, it was more like a summer’s day.

I love themed weddings and details. The colour theme throughout their day was yellow & blue, echoed through the stunning flowers by _____________ and cake by Sue Smith, not forgetting glorious blue bows adorning every chair! With Easter just around the corner, a reminder of this was given through chocolate bunnies and miniature Easter Eggs on the tables.

Nicola had handcrafted a stunning table plan for which tables were named after local cricket club – Egerton Park, Grace Road ……….. (to be continued).

Some guests had flown in from as far as Egypt, with the majority being local.
